The Missouri History Museum is opening the doors on its newest exhibit, “The 1968 Exhibit”, a state-of-the-art, multimedia presentation that looks at how the experiences of the year affected the identity of the people that lived through it. Nineteen sixty-eight was the pinnacle of a turbulent decade, it saw the peak of the Vietnam War, the assassinations of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert Kennedy, riots at the Democratic National Convention, Black Power and Feminist protests, and more. But there were also peace signs, love-ins, and psychedelic rock. From the darkest hours to the incredible highs, you can explore it all in this new exhibit, opening at the Missouri History Museum on October fifth.
