April Showers not only bring May flowers, but this year they also helped families all over the St. Louis area. We’ll check in with the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri to find out what that’s all about. STL TV LIVE host, Janelle Higgins, sits down with CEO of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri, Donna K. Martin, and Director of Development, Operation Food Search, Karen Klaus, to talk about teaming up together for “April Showers,” a community-wide personal care item drive for families in need! Girl Scouts could be seen distributing raindrop-shaped bags filled with items like toothpaste, soap and shampoo in area neighborhoods April 12th through the 14th. Those who are unable to participate or forget to donate during the week of the event may drop off items at any Dierberg’s Market from April 20th to May 4th Find out more by watching the video below.
