Before you accept your next job, how would you like to try it out first to see if it’s the right fit? Well, now you can. The SLATE, “On-the-Job Training Program” is a federally-funded program directed at encouraging local Missouri businesses to fill full-time openings with qualified candidates who are currently unemployed. There are eligibility requirements which typically take about a week to complete and must be completed prior to the candidate starting full-time employment with the company under the program.
