Elections and voting these days have become even more important than they were in past years. This year’s Missouri August 4th primary election had many important issues and candidates on the ballot. The races decided which candidates will be on the ballot for the November 3rd general election. In St. Louis City, Tishaura Jones went on to defeat her challenger for the City Treasurer seat. Kim Gardner overwhelmingly won her challenge for Circuit Attorney, and Cori Bush defeated a long-time incumbent for the chance to win the U.S. House of Representatives District 1 seat. They held a joint press conference and shared their vision for their roles in public office.
