There’s an upcoming opportunity to experience a performance by world-class musicians in one of the most beautiful outdoor settings in the midwest. The St. Louis Symphony is kicking off its 134th season with a free concert on Art Hill at Forest Park. Conductor Steven Jarvi will lead the musicians in an evening of favorites, as well as, highlights from the upcoming season. Hear Berlioz, Beethoven, Britten, and Sousa while relaxing in one of the greatest urban parks in the country with your family and neighbors. If you’d like to really make it a night to remember, visit the Forest Park Boathouse for a Paddle Boat picnic, including a basket full of snacks, accompanied by wine or beer. You can hear the symphony from your romantic spot in a paddleboat on the water, and then have prime seating for the firework finale!
