Division of Civilian Oversight Bill Signing Press Conference

St Louis will now have its own Civilian Oversight Division. Mayor Tishaura O. Jones recently signed Board Bill 47, establishing the new Division. They will be responsible for reviewing complaints of police and corrections misconduct, and helping build essential trust between these institutions and the community. Alderwoman Shameem Clark-Hubbard, Interim Public Safety Director Dr. Dan Isom, Commissioner of Civilian Oversight Board Matthew Brummund, and Crisis Response Team Member for the Fatal State Violence Response Program Tammy Bufford also spoke at the press conference.
