On this episode, City Corner host, Steve Potter examines a really neat web platform called Odd Couples Housing, which matches older adults with younger adults looking for a place to live. The service gives the older person companionship and the younger person a stable living environment. The Odd Couples Housing service matches healthy active older adults with responsible younger adults to share housing, allowing homeowners and seekers (those looking for a room) to complete a personality profile that describes not only the home and where they are wanting to live, but also personality traits of the other person.
