Host Steve Potter talks to Dr. Ashley Denmark about her new book “Olivia’s Doctor Adventures,” which is meant to encourage young people to pursue medical careers. It was created as a way to give children something she didn’t have when she was a child — someone to say, “You can.” The book is just one of Dr. Denmark’s efforts to inspire minority children by showing them that someone who looks like them and who comes from the same background is capable of achieving their biggest dreams.
