CITY CORNER- Bayer YMCA/Overcomer: Stronger Than the Storm

On this episode City Corner host, Robin Boyce, discusses the new renovations at the Bayer YMCA.  Board members will discuss some of the new spaces for exercise, new kitchen for Healthy Eating classes and the new Tech Teen Center featuring ESports. The $2.5 million in renovation improvements are a part of the Gateway Region YMCA’s strategic plan and capital development initiative supported by a $1.5 million gift from Bayer and a separate $1 million anonymous donor gift. Robin also talks with cancer survivor Denise Sneed Williams, a motivational speaker discussing her new book on being an overcomer.
