On this episode of the “Best of STL”, co-hosts Cassandra Walker and LJ Rives get a visit from Jessica Brandon, Executive Director of the Guardian Angel Settlement Association (GASA). For more than 150 years, this wonderful organization has been serving those living in poverty by helping them improve the quality of their lives and achieve economic independence. They work daily to educate and empower those they serve through appropriate programs and services. They are a constant sign of hope in the inner city due largely to the effort and support of the board of directors, support of the United Way, a dedicated and professional staff, as well as, numerous volunteers throughout the St. Louis area.
