Laynie Bryant

Laynie Bryant is a life long native of the St. Louis metropolitan area. She attended Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. While in college she was co-host of the weekly cable show, “SIUE Global Village”, did on air news reporting at WSIE 88.7 FM and wrote for the SIUE publication “The Mass Communicator”.

She joined STL TV while in college as an intern. After graduation she stayed with the station and has since expanded her duties to include co-producing “Best of the STL” and producing and hosting “Home in the City”. She enjoys producing, writing, graphic design and editing various projects. Laynie lives in the St. Louis Metropolitan area with her husband and son. She also shares her home with two dogs, one cat and a turtle. In her spare time she enjoys writing, boating and roller skating.
