Saint Louis Presents- Alicia “Sunshine” Depry-Gbaho

In 2007, Alicia “Sunshine” Depry-Gbaho, had a vision of creating a dance company rooted in the African Cultures. She has made that vision a reality as the Founder and Artistic Director of Beyond Measure Dance Theatre. It entails intermingled choreography rooted in the African Cultures, illuminating the dynamics of its powerfully influential and iconic dances, poetry, acting, singing and more; past, present and future. Saint Louis Presents host, Debbie Monterrey, sits down with her to find out how and why she did it all.
