Education Town Hall Live on STLTV
WHAT:
An education town hall discussion focused on the key issues affecting St. Louis schools will be held on Monday, August 5th starting at 7:00 pm at the STL TV studio. The event is presented by Mark Kasen and the Educators for Social Justice. The panel will be led by Mark Kasen and Onion Horton, with Tim Person, Jim Berger and radio personality, Janee’ of HOT 104.1 FM sharing their thoughts on the potential for educational advancement in the City of St. Louis against a backdrop of controversy related to educational reform across the country.

Educators for Social Justice is a meetup group for anyone in the St. Louis area interested in educating for social justice. Members consist of other teachers, parents, students and community activists interested in education and social justice. This meetup group is facilitated by members of The Literacy for Social Justice Teacher Research Group.
